Overview
Outstanding opportunity for a Senior Treasury Analyst to join a fast growing, international Financial Services business based close to South Warrington. Your role will be to help drive the delivery of the treasury strategy and ensure the Treasury team is able to provide the highest standard of support to the business as it continues to grow and innovate in the market. The role will support the Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer in delivering on the Treasury team’s wide-ranging responsibilities and objectives. You will be expected to manage and take ownership of the key accountabilities below and to be the treasury team’s representative with the vital role of being the on-site point of contract for the business operations teams. In addition, as a small and focused team, there will be a need to provide support and cover for other treasury team members in relation to many other areas, making this a wide-ranging and varied role. Key Responsibilities:- - Work closely with operational teams, specifically the Payments Operations team to ensure efficient payment processes needs are met in an efficient and effective manner - Automate reports thereby enabling regular reporting of Treasury performance - Manage any requirements to open new treasury bank accounts - Manage the numerous intercompany loans and deposits within the Group - With other finance team members, assist in the administration of the multiple banking platforms - Maintain the FX dealing platforms and interfaces with TMS - Analyse and report on banking charges - Organise performance review meetings with banking partners - Support the development of automated disbursement - Prepare and maintain treasury operating procedures, for example the FX dealing process - Ensure that personnel are trained on the necessary systems (TMS, FX and Payment systems) - Create and update user guides for the relevant treasury systems - Work with our banks to issue new guarantees as required and manage existing ones - Support various projects as required Key Skills and knowledge required:- - A Treasury or accounting qualification would be preferable - Experience or knowledge of working within a corporate treasury function - Ability to contribute quickly and effectively and to build effective working relationships with colleagues - Ability to manage own workload including the prioritisation of tasks - Experience of multi-currency and international business - Can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and develop - Comfortable working in an ever-evolving environment resulting in continual change This role is offering a highly competitive salary along with outstanding benefits including 25 days holiday, discretionary performance bonus, work place pension plus much more.
