Ref: JR1076 Vacancy - Internal Sales Executive Location - West London Industry - Lighting and Electrical Wholesaler Salary - attractive salary up to circa £30,000 per annum bonuses depending on skills and experience Rhodium Consulting are recruiting for an internal telephone sales person for this successful and growing lighting and electrical distributor. The role will involve working in a team of people dealing with pricing enquiries, technical queries and sales orders. This team are ambitious, proactive, dynamic and proving to be a successful combination. This role is sales based working in the sales office with additional duties on the trade counter where required (approximately 20% of the role). Part of the role will be reactive calls dealing with incoming queries whilst there is also the requirement for outbound proactive sales calls to win new business. Responsibilities will include: Handling enquiries Raising Quotations for customer orders Customer terms Progressing queries Purchase orders Reactive and proactive telephone sales Use of computer system including quotations, enquiries, picking notes, back orders Trade Counter sales and other Ad hoc duties as required Skills Required: Electrical wholesale sales experience is essential Polished communication skills (written and verbal) Computer literate (inc Microsoft Office) Enjoys speaking to people on the phone Coping with pressures and setback Personal Qualities Required: Reliable and conscientious person with a committed working attitude A hard working team player. A self-motivated person who understands the importance of getting the job done and/or responding to the customer as promised Efficient and effective Should be punctual, well presented and like to operate in an organised manner. Positive with a friendly "can do" attitude. A good listener who is keen to learn, develop new skills and "get on" in the business. Thoughtful and resourceful, someone who enjoys solving problems. It is essential that you have some recent electrical wholesale industry sales experience. This could be from an internal sales role or an ambitious trade counter sales person wanting to progress to a telephone sales role. You will have a good understanding of the electrical wholesale industry and be able to communicate with a wide variety of people. Good connections with electrical contractors would be a distinct advantage, particularly if you have a core element of loyal customers.
