Overview

Job role. Processing customer enquiries and orders, liaising with customers and production. Assist in preparing materials for marketing. Specific duties Receiving and responding to customer enquiries/orders by phone and e-mail Maintaining contact with customers and following up on quotations issued Ordering standard components when required. Arranging for the goods to be packed for despatch. Liaison with courier companies regarding despatch of goods Updating, in conjunction with engineering department, product specification sheets and advising customers of updated specifications Carrying out quality audits and reviews as required by the company’s ISO9001 process. Required skills Some level of technical understanding of electronics - A level Physics and/or Maths or higher Familiar with and comfortable with using Microsoft Office products Good telephone manner Comfortable working in a small company environment Conditions of work Hours - 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch Holidays - 25 days a year plus bank holidays Location - Location - Burgess Hill, West Sussex
