We now have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Engineering Technician to join our team in Exeter. What will you be doing? As an Apprentice Engineering Technician, you’ll be working within Developer Services. There will be an opportunity to develop your skills in civil engineering and gain good experience and understanding of the work place. Through a combination of classroom study, on-the-job experience and support from an experienced mentor over 24-month period you will acquire all the attributes needed to become a Development Coordinator/Adoptions Coordinator with a nationally recognized qualification. The Apprentice Engineering Technician will assist with the review and feeding back of designs for water mains and sewers as produced by third parties, they will also assist with the production of tender documentation for the provision of construction of new sewers within the team. What do you need? 5 GCSEs or equivalent to include Maths, English and a Science subject Enthusiasm and desire to learn new skills Determined approach to solving problems Logical and analytical approach to problem solving. The successful Apprentice Engineering Technician will earn a first-year salary of £ £11,138.09, which will increase in the second year.
