Overview
We are currently looking for a Laboratory Technician to work for a Pharmaceutical company South Oxfordshire on a part time basis (circa 27.5 hours a week). The role: As a Laboratory Technician you will perform routine laboratory and administrative activities to support the laboratory. Duties include: Being laboratory based you will support the Scientists within the laboratory. Support the setting up of experiments, including measuring and weighing of chemicals. Cleaning laboratory equipment and ensuring all lab equipment is ready for use. Support the writing of laboratory documents ensuring quality standards are met. Ideal candidates will: Have some laboratory experience working in industry such as a Pharmaceutical, Biotech or a Chemical lab. A higher qualification in a science subject is highly desirable.
