Overview
Laboratory Solutions are partnered with an expanding Medical device company who are lookin got hire a permanent Laboratory Support Manager to help the administration and organisation of their expanding laboratory, if this might be of interest then please check out the spec below The main purpose of the role is to: • Assume overall responsibility for the maintenance and compliance of Class VII clean rooms ensuring the efficient and effective running of the laboratory, ensuring infrastructure and process equipment are maintained, calibrated and to the ISO 14644 and ISO 13485 standards along with a safe working environment • Work closely with the Scientific, Quality, Engineering and Finance Teams, overseeing the day to day running of laboratory activities. Duties Include: • Maintenance of the facility to ensure compliance with ISO standards. Ensure laboratory safety through promotion of safety policies and procedures and ensure documentation compliance. • To lead the weekly facility meetings, writing up and circulating minutes and following up on agreed actions and responsibilities. • Ensuring infrastructure and process equipment are maintained, calibrated and cleaned according to the ISO 14644 and 13485 standard. • Management of inventory control system for reagents and consumables • In cooperation with the Engineering Team oversee all aspects of laboratory equipment repair, routine maintenance and calibrations. • Carry out laboratory audits and work with Quality Manager to implement any improvements • Control of the Laboratory facilities assets e.g. Equipment, tools, components, IT equipment, as well as low value items/assets not on Asset register. • Support R&D on production projects as required.
