Overview
This is an ideal role for an experienced Project Manager or Junior Programme Manager to further your experience and career in the Corporate Services function of a multi national media business based in Central London. With prior exposure of working within a H/O corporate workstream or PMO capacity, you will be seeking to advance your career in a more complex role. This opportunity will allow you to gain more experience at strategic delivery level to SMT and C-Level stakeholders. Ideally Prince2 certified and preferably with exposure to an Agile working culture, the successful person will project manage, and provide more general support to, strategic projects and programmes run by the Legal, Risk and Secretariat (LRS) function. On occasion, you will provide similar support to other parts of the group in need of a project manager. Duties include: Manage multiple ongoing projects of varying size and scope at any given time, including formal and ad-hoc projects; Co-ordinate and delegate to internal, external and vendor resources to ensure project delivery; Work with other LRS team members on projects across the commercial divisions and central functions; Supporting the creation of the business case and project initiation documentation, including the project plans and KPI’s; Track and report on progress and performance of projects and project deliverables. Manage and report risks and issues identified throughout each projects; Where necessary, support the chair of working groups and steering committee’s by supporting the creation of the agenda and minuting the meetings; Track budgets and spend during managed projects; Support BAU work in the LRS team including: Have a good understanding of the organisational structure, segments serviced, group strategy and business model; and Have a good understanding of the governance and structure of the functions and divisions of the group. Co-ordinate the Supplier Assurance Process, and provide ad-hoc support for suppliers going through the process; and Supporting the teams with their internal communications and intranet pages; The role also manages the Strategic Programmes Report that goes to the company's group board at board meetings. Co-ordinate the collection of information from the divisional and functional directors; Review and challenge the information gathered; Present the draft report to the General Counsel and CEO ahead of insertion into the board pack; and Meet strict deadlines to ensure the report is created in time for the board meeting.
