Overview
You will be trained to operate machinery as required, but most of the preparation and finishing work will be carried out by hand. You will also be required to pack and move finished pallets of products, as well as adhering to strict food hygiene standards. Client Details Very succesful FMCG business based in Aberdeen. Description We are recruiting for a General Operative. This will be on a fixed term contract initially for 3 months but may be extended if necessary. Working hours will be Monday - Friday 6 am - 2.30 pm with overtime as and when required which may include Saturday working. Working within an established diverse team, you will be responsible for producing a wide variety of products including minced steak, sausages, burgers, sausage rolls and en-croutes, all to our exacting high standards. You will be trained to operate machinery as required, but most of the preparation and finishing work will be carried out by hand. You will also be required to pack and move finished pallets of products, as well as adhering to strict food hygiene standards. This work will involve working in a chilled environment wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) which will be provided. Profile A hard working, good eye for detail is required for the role. Job Offer Hourly rate for fixed term 3 months that may be extended.
