General Operative - Picking

Working within the Picking Department as part of an established and diverse team, you will be responsible for selecting customer orders to their exact specifications and ensuring that the highest standard of quality and hygiene is maintained. This is a busy department and a high attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately is essential, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy in the orders picked. Client Details A leading meat producer. Description My client are recruiting at their premises in Kintore for a General Operative. This will be on a fixed term contract initially for 3 months but may be extended if necessary. Working hours will be Monday - Friday 6 am - 2 pm with overtime as and when required which may include Saturday working. As our product is frozen, you will be working in a freezer environment which is cold, however, appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will be provided as well as additional warming breaks outwith your normal breaks. Full training will be provided on the processes, along with training on any machinery required to be used. Profile As a food production service, it is vital that we remain open. However, we require to adhere to the guidance set down by the government. In view of this, applications will ONLY be progressed from individuals who will be able to adhere to the recognised government social distancing advice, ie travelling to work by car or motorbike alone, or be able to walk to work at Kintore. A good eye for detail, the ability to pick up instructions quickly and accuracy is the most important Job Offer £8.67 per hour.
