Overview

Working as part of an established and diverse team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customer orders are packed appropriately and passed to our distribution department. You will be required to operate scanning and bar coding equipment and high attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately is essential, whilst ennsuring that the highest standard of quality and hygiene is maintained. Client Details A leading meat producer. Description My client are recruiting at their premises in Kintore for a General Operative within the Packing Team. This will be on a fixed term contract initially for 3 months but may be extended if necessary. Working hours will be Monday - Friday 6 am - 2 pm with overtime as and when required. Working as part of an established and diverse team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customer orders are packed appropriately and passed to our distribution department. You will be required to operate scanning and bar coding equipment and high attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately is essential, whilst ensuring that the highest standard of quality and hygiene is maintained. During busy periods, there may be the requirement to carry out cleaning duties throughout the Fulfilment site as well as provide support to the Dry Ice Team in packing orders. You will be working in a chilled environment, however, appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will be provided as well as full training on the processes, along with training on any machinery required to be used. The ability to adhere and maintain strict hygiene and quality standards is essential. Profile As a food production service, it is vital that we remain open. However, we require to adhere to the guidance set down by the government. In view of this, applications will ONLY be progressed from individuals who will be able to adhere to the recognised government social distancing advice, ie travelling to work by car or motorbike alone, or be able to walk to work at Kintore. A good eye for detail, the ability to pick up instructions quickly and accuracy is the most important. Job Offer £9.21 per hour.
