Overview
An exciting opportunity has become available for qualfied auditors with public sector experience to join a Big 4 Professional Services firm. In this role there is plenty of opportunities to progress and gain experience across a vast portfolio of clients and sectors. The role would suit a confident, motivated and experienced auditor to join a dynamic and forward thinking professional services firm. In addition to a competitive salary, there includes an extensive benefits package. Previous Experience: Recent external audit experience within a public sector, charity or commercial environment. Experience of auditing financial statements prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards. Professional accountancy qualification. Ability to work on own initiative. Effective teamworking skills. Experience of supervising junior audit staff. An understanding of risk based audit techniques. Effective planning and organising skills to ensure that the varied workload is managed effectively. Excellent analytical skills. Good communication skills and the ability to engage at all levels. Ability to present and write reports to a high standard. IT literate; good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Self-motivated.
