Fyte are delighted to bring to market an Audit Senior position based in Glasgow or Edinburgh with a leading Professional Services firm . This is an exciting opportunity for a newly-qualified and qualified accountant to join an organisation that understands Personal Development is crucial to the development of their employees providing on-going training in an exciting and motivating work environment. The ideal candidate for the role will be a skilled multi-tasker, reliable and committed to consistently meeting strict deadlines. In this role there is plenty of opportunities to progress and gain experience across a vast portfolio of clients and sectors. The role would suit a confident, motivated and experienced part qualified auditor to join a dynamic and forward thinking professional services firm. In addition to a competitive salary, there includes an extensive benefits package. Previous Experience: Recent external audit experience within a public sector, charity or commercial environment. Experience of auditing financial statements prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards. Professional accountancy qualification. Ability to work on own initiative. Effective teamworking skills. Experience of supervising junior audit staff. An understanding of risk based audit techniques. Effective planning and organising skills to ensure that the varied workload is managed effectively. Excellent analytical skills. Good communication skills and the ability to engage at all levels. Ability to present and write reports to a high standard. IT literate; good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Self-motivated.
