Overview

TEAM MANAGER - CHILDRENS SOCIAL WORK - HARINGEY Service Care Solutions are looking for a permanent Team Manager to work as part of Haringey Council on a permanent basis. The successful individual will be working as part of the Children with Additional Needs and Disabilities team, and be responsible for a team of up to 8 people. SALARY - £49,464 - £54,597 CLOSING DATE - Wednesday 11th March 2020 HOW TO APPLY - If you are interested in this role, send your CV now to Jennifer at jennifer.lynchservicecare.org.uk or alternatively call 01772 208964 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE •Relevant Social Work qualification •HCPC Registration •A minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience in children's services and especially in the areas of safeguarding and child protection •Ability to implement HR and other Council procedures •Experience of and involvement in the CAF processes and an understanding as to how this process relates to Disabled Children •Experience of chairing and minuting multi agency meetings ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES •To provide consultative support to other teams across the service •To be responsible for evaluating staff performance, including probationary assessments and performance appraisals •Knowledge and experience of using IT •To contribute to the development of practice and policy initiatives •To undertake all work activities ensuring that the Council's Policies (including Equalities) are adhered to and that organisation About Haringey Council We are investing in creating a better borough for all our residents and improving the lives of children and young people in Haringey is our first corporate priority.
