DegreeSix Recruitment are working on behalf of an outstanding care provider on the outskirts of Leicestershire. This organisation provides residential and supported living services for adults with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviours. The locations are easily accessible via public transport links from Leicester city. We are looking for Temporary Support Workers who want to make a difference and take the opportunity to be part of an encouraging team. Requirements of the role As a Temporary Weekend Support Worker, you will be providing a combination of support, personal and domestic care. You must be a reliable, self-motivated individual with knowledge and understanding of supporting adults with learning disabilities. It is an essential to have a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role, be confident with lone working and be able to adapt to changing environments and situations. You must be at least 18 years of age and preferable hold a UK driver licence however it is not essential. If you meet the above criteria, we can offer you - Variety of shift patterns and flexible working hours available including evenings, weekends and sleepovers - Free online training - Hourly rates between £8.25 and £9 per hour - Weekly Pay - Enhanced bank holiday pays The successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service or provide Certificate and Update Service subscription details.
