Overview

We are currently looking for a Night Shift Support Worker to join the ranks in our diverse care team located in Shepshed, Loughborough. Briarvale serves as a residential home to act as a sanctuary for individuals with learning disabilities to live happy and fulfilling lives as independently as possible. Briarvale is a mixed gender home and can accommodate anyone aged 18 or over, however the current age range within the service falls between 35 and 75. The home can accommodate 10 service users and being a stones throw from Shepshed town centre and well connected to Loughborough, service users and support workers alike will have access to many local amenities. Who we’re looking for: Our support workers must be kind, compassionate and genuinely enthusiastic about the care and wellbeing of our service users Our support workers need to use initiative to keep service users engaged. Our support workers MUST be reliable and flexible, care work isn’t your typical 9-5 grind Driving license isn’t essential but would be desirable in the position. Shifts: Night shift: 20.30 – 08.00 The Rotas are produced far in advance so you will always know when you are working. Management are flexible with the rota and if you need to swap a shift, they will always look to accommodate this when they can. Overtime is on offer in the home, dependent on staff annual leave and sickness.
