Overview
Senior Household Claims Handler Location: Taunton Salary: £ DOE The Company: An industry leading claims management company in the South West are looking to recruit an experienced insurance professional in a household claims handler role. This business is supportive of professional and technical development and will finance and encourage qualifications and career advancement. The Role: Your role will be to handle a caseload of household claims from start to finish. This is a customer focused role which will involve communication with various internal and external parties including surveyors and contractors managing the full restoration and repair of claims damages e.g Flood or Fire damage. As this is a senior position you will hold settlement authority within the role involving complex and higher value claims. The Required Skills: Experience in the insurance industry, ideally involving household insurance experience CII or CILA qualifications are preferred Good communication and organisation skills Ideally experience dealing with complaints Job Synonyms: Claims Handler, Claims Technician, Incident Manager, Case Manager, Claims Manager
