AR29 – Battery Service Engineer Location : Slough / M25 West Salary : £20,000 - £25,000 Overview : First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Battery & Charger Engineer to travel between sites throughout the UK and maintain, charger and repair any battery related equipment. Applications from ex-military individuals are actively encouraged, however all applications will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities: Onsite commissioning maintenance Changing and Repairing industrial batteries, chargers and associated equipment Complete job sheets and reports on battery maintenance for submission to Head office. Provide battery changing cover at customer’s sites around the UK as and when required Cleaning of batteries and chargers to the agreed standard Testing and repairing of batteries and chargers Safely preparing equipment for transportation Any other duties as required by the client Skills and Qualifications: Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge Related qualifications would be advantageous Excellent communication skills at all levels, both internally within the company and externally to the customer Ability to function as part of a team Diligent and conscientious attitude and the ability to prioritise a busy workload Ability to work unsupervised Responsible and mature attitude Ability to function under pressure Ability to understand the technical nature of the product The ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic all-rounder with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to learn, ambitious to develop within the company Location : Slough / M25 West Salary : £20,000 - £25,000 This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89895511
