Job Role: Mobile HGV Mechanic Location: Slough & Surrounding Area\'s (Southern M25 Corridor) Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent Financial Package: £50,000 basic annual salary My client, a well-established specialist repairer of Heavy Good Vehicles is actively seeking to employ a skilled, experienced and qualified HGV Mechanic to work on a mobile basis along the southern M25 Corridor. The successful HGV Mechanic will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance to include Hydraulic, Electrical and Mechanical service and repair. General duties include correction of running defects, diagnostics and MOT preparation. Essential Requirements: The successful applicant will be an experienced HGV Mechanic and have a strong background in commercial vehicle servicing and repair, an understanding of Hydraulics would be beneficial for the role but is not essential as training in this area can be offered to the successful applicant for this role. The successful HGV Mechanic will also have full industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ Level Three) Desirable requirements: Qualifications in electronics and hydraulics, qualifications in chassis repair and maintenance along with a current HGV driving licence (Class 1 or 2). The hours of work for this exciting HGV Mechanic role will be 07:00 - 16:30 Monday - Friday.
