Senior Safety Physician for a growing and exciting pharma business based in Slough on the Bath Road. Pharmacovigilance Physician, Safety Assessment Risk Benefit An established mid-sized pharma, with an excellent track record of developing products across multiple therapy areas, are now looking to hire a senior pharmacovigilance/drug safety physician at the Global Lead level. The Company Based on the Bath Road in Slough, this mid-sized pharma company are well established and have a strong heritage of developing exciting products across multiple exciting therapy areas. The pharmacovigilance/drug safety department is very stable and has highly experienced members across benefit risk assessments, compliance, case processing and operations. The Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety Physician Role In this role you will be responsible for designing and implementing the safety strategy for your assigned therapeutic area, both clinical and post marketing, and will be reporting into the Vice President of Drug Safety. You will be responsible for the safety assessment of all products in your therapeutic area and will sit at the benefit risk assessment meetings to ensure your products meet the safety standards to go out to market. As well as the scientific duties, you will be charged with growing your team and training junior members of staff from scientific writers and managers to keep in the tradition of fostering growth from within the department.
