Overview
Robert Half Financial Services are working with a growing Private Equity firm based at Green Park, looking for an Assistant Accountant to join on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a bright individual who has experience within a Finance team and wants to continue this whilst gaining exposure into Private Equity deals. Role As Assistant Accountant, you'll be reporting directly to the Head of Finance. You should be comfortable with excel and performing general administrative tasks as well as helping with the Accounting duties. There is also the opportunity to assist with analysing the deals. Being responsible for the accounts payable function, processing invoices and dealing with a wide variety of creditors Processing payroll and dealing with requirements of the company pension scheme Posting journals to the accounts. MS Dynamics experience is desirable Dealing with HMRC and processing corporation tax/VAT returns Assisting the asset managers in deal-related tasks Reconciling staff expenses to receipts General ad-hoc administrative tasks Profile Degree educated Intermediate on Excel MS Dynamics experience is desirable but not essential Minimum 2 years working within a finance team Passion for Real Estate and Investments Company The company has strong and successful roots overseas which it has built by investing in Real Estate. It is now looking to grow its UK and European market share. They are ambitious and eager and want to find like-minded people to join. City of London Salary & Benefits £18 p/h to £20 p/h plus holiday pay. The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
