The Business A start-up property technology business that combines comfortable and stylish apartments with all the amenities of staying at a hotel. With locations in desirable locations around major cities and flexible letting types this is a forward-thinking property technology business with a huge ambition to expand its operations across the UK and Europe. The Job This is a 6 month internship paying £18,000 pro-rata with the potential to convert to a permanent job. Job Breakdown: • You will join the company as a junior level real estate analyst, supporting the senior analyst which will be a great opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills whilst working on live projects, learning from an experienced analyst and experience working in a start-up working environment too. • Your main responsibility in this job is to analyse property sites around the UK to understand the feasibility for development on these locations, forecasting the investment and projecting the returns. • You will analyse the costs of renting sites from both landlords and property developers across the UK, involving a lot of work in Excel, creating reports and identifying meaningful insight in line with the company goals. • Support the Senior Real Estate Analyst on ad hoc jobs. Who Fits the Bill? • Educated to degree level with a preference for STEM or Science based subjects due to the analytical side of this position. • A high level of numeracy. • Comfortable working with numbers and excel. • Someone who enjoys data analysis. • Strong Excel skills e.g. comfortable working with pivot tables and creating excel models. • A high attention to details and someone who spots the missing bit of data. • Ideally someone looking to forge a long-term career in the property sector or as a Business Analyst. • Available to start working immediately.
