PART TIME COMPLIANCE MANAGER - 15-18 HOURS A WEEK My client is a dynamic and forward thinking financial services group, comprising of an IFA specialising in financial advice for the media and entertainment industry with £200m under management and a large mortgage brokerage. They are looking for an experienced and commercially minded compliance manager to work closely with the directors to undertake the compliance monitoring plan, training and competence scheme, SMCR oversight and MIFID II oversight The successful candidate will not need: to become the Anti Money Laundering officer, to undertake file reviews have one to ones with advisers However you will be given autonomy to achieve the aims of the role how you see fit. Career progression to SM16 and SM17 available For this role: You have 5 years financial services experience, in a Compliance team environment in an FCA regulated company. You have significant experience and knowledge of FCA requirements; Be able to produce evidence of training and continuing professional development specifically within the FCA compliance aspect of IFAs and mortgage broker firms Have a desire to make compliance a valuable process that protects the company and improves process and efficiencies Potential to grow with the company and become the Compliance Oversight officer Personal and Professional development including examinations supported SMCR and MIFID II implementation experience essential £45,000 pro rata
