Overview

Information Security Specialist You'll will be working closely with the IT Director to create and devise the roadmap ahead and strengthen the business and IT systems. You will also ensure ongoing compliance across various sites with regards to information security. You will have full autonomy and will have experience and focus within Governance, Risk and compliance as well as ISO 27001. What you'll be doing: Undertaking security system audits (IT & data assets) for the business unit Undertaking Security strategy and master planning for the business unit Producing technical reports and handling day-to-day operational requirements related to Information security Monitoring security threats and undertaking risk assessments for the business unit Performing assessments to ensure secure coding practices are followed Coordinating Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessments, & Disaster Recovery Testing Working closely with the DevOps manager to monitor the business unit's infrastructure to find anomalous or malicious activities using various analytical methods and SIEM tools (such as Tenable). What we're looking for: CISM, CISSP, or similar industry accreditation Thorough understanding of many information security standards and frameworks Experienced with implementing policies, and undertake all risk assessments Strong client focus and a positive approach to problem solving Understanding about Azure Security Centre management Server & endpoints Patching Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessments, & Disaster Recovery Testing Technical background About Axelos Axelos is a joint venture company, created in 2013 by the Cabinet Office on behalf of Her Majesty's Government in the UK and Capita plc, to manage, develop and grow its Global Best Practice portfolio.
