Overview
Accounts Manager, Aldershot, £38 - £45,000 This hands-on position will see you working closely with the MD and the Group FD and will manage a small team. Day to day you will be responsible for the production of management and statutory accounts for 4 group companies using Sage 50 and Excel. Duties will include: Responsible for processing, analysis, review and producing the financial statements for management and for statutory purposes. Performing/managing the day to day processing of transactions as required. Producing accurate, complete, transparent and timely information. Producing bank, intercompany, WIP, VAT, Payroll reconciliation. Producing weekly cash flows. Involvement with the annual audit. Liaison with external customers, including HMRC, Health scheme and Life assurance provider. Ensuring that process improvements are identified and executed. Involvement in ad hoc tasks/projects as required by the organisation. Involved in the completion of certain administrative tasks. About you: Part Qualified ACCA or CIMA, AAT Qualified or someone suitably QBE, with at least 3 years industry work experience. Experience with the use of SAGE to trial balance level. Knowledge on WIP accounting would be useful. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Bias for action and results orientation. A positive can-do attitude. Ability to collaborate with and influence others to drive business results. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work within a team environment and individually. Good verbal and written communications skills. Strong Time Management skills. Strong Planning and organisation skills with the ability to multi task. Working as part of a team, creating efficiencies within the team and ensuring a team spirit is maintained. This is a full time permanent job working 37.5 hours with a very attractive 2pm finish on a Friday, flexitime is also an option, other benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (3 to be taken at Xmas), pension and free on-site parking.
