Our client is looking for Accounts Payable Assistant
Responsibilities:
Responsible for tasks involving payments, expenditure and invoices.
Obtain, process and validate invoices and entries and differentiate balances from system reports.
Supports the Accounts Payables team in all aspects of accounting, including administeing accounts payable invoices, entering them into the accounting software, ensuring the accuracy of the entire process and communicating with vendors.
Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
Maintains historical records by filing documents.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of three (3) CXC's to include Accounts or equivalent professional accounting qualifications from a recognized institution.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in accounts payable.
Sound knowledge of Accounts Payables
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
