Role Info: Production Operative (Multiple Roles) - No Experience Needed - Award Winning Food Brand Colchester | £7.90-£8.41 per hour with an increase after 6 months service. The Production Operative Role: Our manufacturing team have immediate vacancies for production operatives. In this role, you will be part of a growing team producing our unique formula sports nutrition products and will have the opportunity to learn and work on a number of different lines and processes. Typical duties of an operative will include: Working on a production line in a clean room environment to create blends, pack and seal Ensuring products meet production quality standards Checking correct procedures are followed for all builds from material used to weight check compliance and labelling standards Ensuring resources are used efficiently to achieve maximum daily output and assisting in the continuous operation of the line through support of all team members Keeping machines supplied with materials and labels Ensuring machine settings are correct for the product going through the line Ensuring raw materials are available and are ready for use for the manufacturing process Maintain high standards of good housekeeping and food hygiene; adhering to all aspects of the cleaning schedules and clean room standards Production monitoring data collection and analysis Ensuring process compliance The successful candidates will have a selection of the following skills: Experienced in working in a factory or engineering environment (food production or pharmaceutical desirable) Able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure A motivated team player able to achieve the department targets on a daily basis Proactive and confident approach towards work High level of literacy, numeracy and computer literacy skills, including Excel You may have worked in the following capacities: Food Production Operative, Food Manufacturing Technician, Food Ingredients Blending Operative, Manufacturing Production Operative, Warehouse Packing, Student Worker.
