Overview
Our client in Bristol is recruiting for a HGV Day Driver. Job Description: You will be required to carry out between 2 - 6 drops a night. You will be required to complete vehicle checks before and after the shift, ensuring any issues are reported. You must be reliable and trusting as you may be entering sites that are unmanned. Loading/unloading vehicles Delivering to Car show room retailers through the night. Using scanner to POD freight once loaded and delivered. Placing freight into lock ups and storage places using keys and alarm pads to access. Following set route and adhering to “just-in-time” drops. Requirements: You must have a valid HGV 2 Licence. You must have a valid Tacho Card. You must have a valid CPC. It is essential you have held your licence for a minimum of 2 years. The client will not accept more than 6 points on your licence. Full training will be given. Must have a good understanding of English and be a good communicator, paperwork involved Benefits: You will be paid weekly. Shifts are Monday – Friday. £12- £12.10ph
