Job Description
Logistics done differently. Are you a newly qualified Class 1 HGV Driver who is looking to secure a full time, permanent position? Or are you an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for a new opportunity? Do you like the idea of working for one of the most forward-thinking and fast-growing logistics companies out there?We are looking for full-time, permanent Class 1 HGV Drivers to join us at our site in Bristol. You'll be working 45hours per week, Monday to Friday - Yes you get weekends off!! and you will do very occasional nights out, but this is not the norm. Pay, benefits and more: We're looking to offer an hourly rate of 12.61 (29,522.49 Annually), any hours worked between 1800hrs and 0400hrs are paid at 13.82and weekends are paid 13.77. What you'll do on a typical day: * Deliver plasterboard and associated material to building merchants and construction site locations * Trailers are typically preloaded, you will unstrap the vehicles at delivery sites to be unloaded. * All deliveries are unloaded at site by FLT - no handballing needed * You will make on average one drop per day, occasionally doing 2 drops. * Your start times will be between 0300 and 0600. * Ensure the safe and legal operation of your vehicle at all times What you need to succeed at XPO: * Full UK driving licence (with C&E entitlement) * No more than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements) Be part of something big.
