Overview
Supply Planner This position with our expanding blue chip client is tasked with ensuring optimum availability of inventory in servicing customer orders and forecast requirements in accordance with inventory targets. To interrogate and analyse Bills of Material, forecast customer orders, stock purchase orders and any associated information to streamline & maximise service to the customer base. Within this exciting company you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience, and grow within the company either in the UK or abroad. Key Responsibilities Timely placement of Purchase Orders on Suppliers Maintain and develop existing international supply chains Interpretation of sales forecasts/demand in support of Purchase Order placement Integral part of Planning team and key liaison between Sales, Product Management, Accounts, Quality, Customer Service, Operations Ensuring Purchase Orders are shipped on time from suppliers – expediting when necessary Regular communication with logistics team to coordinate inbound deliveries. Maintaining accurate detail pertaining to supply products Compilation, analysis and presentation of key data related to supply to management Experience / Person · Supply planning experience · Understanding of Incoterms · Forecasting · Effective under pressure · Able to maintain and develop a supply base · Strong team worker · Job Type : Permanent Salary : £25,000-£28,000 Hours : 09:00 - 17:00 Mon-Fri Location : Wolverhampton
