Overview
We are recruiting an Assistant Production Merchandiser to join this growing and well-established supplier. The Assistant Production Merchandiser will be working on menswear, womenswear and childrenswear clothing. The Assistant Production Merchandiser will be responsible for: Managing the critical path for the customers to ensure deliveries are on schedule Chasing the factories for orders where necessary if there are delays, and if so, informing relevant people of the issues Raise purchase orders with the factories in the Far East Obtain comments or approvals from customers from pre-production to gold seal Organising the shipping process, booking in deliveries and working with the finance team Necessary skills for the Assistant Production Merchandiser include: Highly organised especially with managing tight deadlines Ability to work part of a team yet also work on their own initiative Good IT and Microsoft skills, particularly Excel The Assistant Production Merchandiser must have some experience within a production, import or wholesale previously and be driven by working in a successful environment.
