- Easily accessible from the city centre, Handsworth and the Black Country - Starting rate of £15.00 per hour with progression available - Benefits for the successful Quality Engineer include temp-to-perm transition after 12 weeks, along with guaranteed hours, free parking, company pension We are recruiting an experienced Quality Technician to join a specialist provider of engineering and machining solutions to the Aerospace, Automotive and Marine industries. This medium-scale toolroom excels in low volume and 5 axis machining components and prototypes, with full CMM service and QA capabilities. Their products include a range of turned components, specially designed fixtures, moulds and dies. In order to be successful for this position, candidates must bring the following attributes: - Proven background in dealing with demanding OEM customers - Experienced Quality Engineer with knowledge and application of the PPAP and Six Sigma process - Experience in dealing within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, particularly in terms of new product implementation - Ability to prioritise workloads and volumes - Experience of LEAN tools - Experience of working to ISO9001-2015 is essential. All applicants for this role MUST hold four years' experience as a Quality Engineer, along with a background in CMM programming. In turn, the company will offer a starting rate of £15.00 per hour on the basis of a straight day shift (without rotation).
