Overview
I am currently recruiting for an experienced Project manager to work at my client, a leading public sector organisation based in Sheffield. You will be responsible for developing workstream plans and a business case for project that is developing a new strategy and operating model for facilities. You will work under the guidance of a programme manager and workstream leads and subject matter experts are in place. The project may require travel to different sites across the city that can be reached by public transport. The placement is for 6 months and will include: Facilitation of workshops Drafting of programme documents i.e. business cases Refreshing programme governance arrangements and facilitating the board Developing and managing the programme plan Supporting development and management of the workstream plans Developing the stakeholder analysis, drafting a communication and engagement approach and plan Identifying and managing links and dependencies between workstreams Coordinating risk and issue management Programme progress reporting A specific milestone will be to ensure that within 3 months, the leisure strategy and vision is completed to an extent that it can be consulted on. To be successful in this role you will ideally have: • Asset/facilities management knowledge • Business modelling • Finance project management • Project management of strategy development • Supplier management • Public sector experience This role is to start ASAP, please apply today with a covering letter and your salary expectations.
