Overview
Our consultancy client are working with a global bank on a major compliance programme and as such are looking for an experienced project manager to work on the data governance part of the programme. Working within the compliance IT Data and MI team working as part of the wider compliance group function the team provides a foundational set of data capabilities which maximise synergy, minimise spend and ensures that the data serving various compliance related processes is of the highest quality. The project you will be managing will focus on data governance and the delivery of project that for example : Create a new cross cloud/on premise data catalogue for compliance Creates a new reference data standard for compliance Exposes data so it can be read by a new metadata engine Assesses how data governance controls are being applied with the work to remediate gaps and issues covered As well as number of other defined projects. You will accountable for ensuring that detailed plans exist for the initiatives and that all risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies are being actively managed. You must have extensive banking experience and have worked in a compliance function on data governance previously for this role.
