Overview

Head of Digital & Architecture Strategy Purpose of Role Reporting to the Assistant Director of IT, the role will ensure the Business has the appropriate technical provision and capability, across the Enterprise, to ensure Digital Transformation and wider Business goals can be met. Ensuring technical solutions meet industry standards and market trends. Key responsibilities Contribute to and execute on IT Strategy to ensure delivery of Business goals. Engage with Business and Technology subject matter experts across and its outsource partners to deliver Business outcomes with technology solutions Provide both strategic and SME direction on Digital Transformation Assure key strategic projects to ensure they are complaint with IT strategy, architectural standards, policies and principles. Monitor and analyse industry technology and market trends to determine their potential impact. Lead the team of assurance architects, providing company-wide standards, measures and governance Be responsible for digital and architectural engagement with and compliance by the outsourcer’s CTO, architecture and digital design team Essential experience Significant experience as a successful enterprise & digital architect. Of working in a compliant or regulated environment Operational and ICT management roles in an outsourced business environment Data Centre, Cloud, Digital Transformation. Significant experience of managing the specification, development and delivery of change from a wide variety of third party agencies, suppliers and specialists. Of working across all digital channels. Considerable experience working with external IT assurance companies and IT auditors Proven track record of leading high performing teams. Essential technical knowledge and skills Degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related subjects or equivalent by experience Knowledge of all components of a holistic EA Strong understanding of software, hardware, architecture frameworks Practical knowledge and experience of leading edge technologies Knowledge of current and emerging trends eg agile project management practices, open source, cloud platforms, and digital technology services In-depth knowledge of systems architectures, performance, resilience, and scalability Wide range of specific technical skills to ensure adequate understanding should Data Architect; London; £80k
