Head of Data Science and Machine Learning Engineering London £100,000 - £110,000 This is an exciting new opportunity for an Data Science Manager/Head of Data Science to work for a tech company focused on improving the environment. You'd be reporting directly into the Chief Technology Officer working alongside the Principal Data Scientist with the aim to bring in a new perspective on how the business works and offer new ideas to their Data Science strategy, whilst getting involved in the technical side too. THE COMPANY This is an established business with lots of investment - their aim is to help customers have more flexibility and offer more stable prices when accessing green energy, so it's excellent for helping the environment. You'd be leading a team of 4 Data Scientists and overseeing Machine Learning Engineers and Quant Analysts - the main focus of the team being to build end to end machine learning models and put them into production. THE ROLE As a Head of Data Science for the business you will: Set the Data Science strategy for the business, outlining the roadmap and lead on projects You will be helping the team to building and deploying machine learning models looking at the end to end process as well as getting involved on the technical side when needed Looking at time series data - analysing the data and offering solutions to business problems You will be managing a team of 4 Data Scientists as well as overseeing the ML Engineers and Quant Analysts SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Excellent team management experience - managing a team of Data Scientists and Data Engineers is ideal Masters degree or PHD in a relevant numerical field An excellent understanding of and experience with end to end Machine Learning SALARY AND BENEFITS Basic salary up to £110,000 Bonus Scheme Benefits HOW TO APPLY Please register your interest for this role by sending your CV to Rosie O'Callaghan via the apply link on this page
