Data Scientist (R&D) London - Paddington £105,000 benefits and bonus Harnham are working exclusively with the R&D unit of a leading Big Data & AI Lab in Europe to build out their machine learning team in London (Paddington). They have 300 people across advanced analytics, with a number of Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Machine Learning Engineers. Everything this team does involves building and deploying machine learning and sophisticated algorithms that can be used to benefit the business. Vital for this role is to be able apply complex machine learning knowledge to real-world challenges faced by the business. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is a problem-solver at heart. The Role - Data Scientist You will be: Building end-to-end machine learning systems for the business Initially focusing on recommender systems and customer behaviour projects Experimenting with deep learning algorithms Translating business challenges and converting them into clear and concise projects Experience - Data Scientist You will have: M.Sc. or Ph.D. in: Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc. Experience using Python is a must (tools like AWS and Spark are beneficial) A strong knowledge of statistical/machine learning models applied to real-world problems A keen interest in problem solving and using scalable machine learning to solve the biggest data-related problems Benefits Up to £105,000 base salary Competitive bonus and pension Budgets for training and conferences The ability to attend and present at conferences Working from home / flexible working The opportunity to join a world-class and growing team How to Apply?
