Financial Planning and Analysis Accountant Nelson Permanent Placements are proud to be representing our client who is an award-winning Manufacturing company based in the West Midlands. Our client has gone through astronomical growth over the last few years since been taken over by a large international group. Our client is now looking for an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Accountant who has a wealth of experience and knowledge of SOX Regulations To be considered for this role you must be a part qualified accountant (ACCA) and have a vast amount of post qualification experience. It would also be advantageous if you possess experience working within a fast paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience of driving improved financial performance. Package £40,000 25 days holiday plus public holidays, Christmas shut down Pension Scheme Essential Responsibilities Treasury Management Maintaining fixed assets registers in line with both US GAAP / UK IFRS Review inventory levels and provide analysis of stock turns Undertake the annual costing review and standard cost roll Production of Weekly forecasts Production of Annual Budgets Undertake Sales and Margin analysis, providing insightful information and trends Journal preparation and control Balance sheet reconciliations Provide SOX compliance to cycle counting, access controls, segregation of duty Preparation of Statutory accounts Reconciliation of US GAAP / UK IFRS in statutory accounts Education/Skills Qualified accountant GCSE or equivalent Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related field. CPA preferred. Typically requires a minimum of five years business related experience Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative.
