Overview
Opes are seeking someone with both confidence and exemplary communication skills to join our expanding team. This is a fantastic time to join the business as we grow and the newly-opened role includes full funding of your CeMAP qualifications. On top of this there is plenty of internal progression along with regular salary reviews and one of the best commission packages in our industry. We are known for conducting some of the largest mortgage loans in the UK with local and international clients. You will have access to and training from some of the highest performing brokers in London. The role - Trainee Mortgage Broker means you will be immediately working alongside experienced brokers and clients to help achieve fast and effective results for them. You will be tasked in marketing projects as well as assisting business development and client retention initiatives before finalising your exams to qualify as a FCA regulated mortgage broker. Successful candidates will have the following attributes: Hunger and ambition to succeed in a sales-driven environment. The ability to explain unfamiliar ideas to others. Be approachable, pro-active and eager to learn. Demonstrate effective and appropriate oral and written communication. Experience in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Be comfortable working on tasks alone or within small teams remotely. We do not require candidates to have any previous financial services experience or related qualifications, as we will be primarily leaning towards those who display the above qualities. Whilst it is not essential, given the enterprising nature of our company, being proficient in a second language would be an advantage. Furthermore, please understand this is a role for someone who is keen to start a career and have a role they want to work hard at and flourish in.
