Job Role: Mobile HGV Mechanic (NOT BREAKDOWN or ROADSIDE) Location: Bristol Contract Type: Full time / permanent Shift : DAY SHIFT Monday to Friday - no call out or weekends Salary: £40,000 -£44,000 per year Key Benefits: Fully expensed company van Fuel Card Mobile Phone My client, a well established commercial vehicle fleet maintainer is actively seeking to employ a fully skilled, experienced and qualified HGV Mechanic to work on a mobile basis covering Bristol and surrounding area Working from home, the successful HGV Mechanic will be working on a wide range of heavy commercial vehicles to include Refuse Collection, Gully Suckers and Road Sweepers , the successful HGV Mechanic will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle service, maintenance and repair at customers depots. Duties to include: Six weekly inspections General Servicing MOT preparations and presentations Diagnostics Light welding if you have the skills The successful HGV Mechanic must have recognised industry qualifications i.e. City & Guilds or NVQ to level three in Heavy Vehicle maintenance and repair or equivalent and prior experience gained working on Refuse Collection Vehicles. This is a day shift with the hours of work being 07:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday, you will be provided with a company van, fuel card and you will be paid for your travelling time. The basic Salary for the role is £40,000 - £44,000 per annum
