Job Description

We are looking for a Mobile Multi-skilled mobile Engineer to work within the Bristol Schools team of building maintenance engineers. You'll: * Carry out electrical/mechanical reactive and planned maintenance activities to a high standard * Perform statutory and mandatory testing in accordance with the relevant legislation * Develop an in depth knowledge of building systems and strive to improve efficiencies * Develop a culture of care conducive to the creation of an injury free environment. * Report back to helpdesk regarding status of jobs * You may be called to assist in the development of scope/plans for project works Working Environment: The role will be site based operating around 4 secondary schools around Bristol that were built back in 2007 as part of a PFI contract alongside a number of commercial properties in the Bristol area. Normal working hours are 08:00 to 17:00 with some flexibility required, this will be agreed with your line manager the week before when necessary. You will be working closely with the engineering team and the Building Services Manager. We're looking for: * Time served apprenticeship * IOSH working safety (Desirable) * HNC or HND in Building Service's (Desirable) * Core commercial Gas as well as radiant tubes, pipework purging and testing and radiant tubes (Desirable) * Handling F-Gas as well as Refrigeration and air-conditioning level 2 (Desirable) * Good level of hands on experience of both electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems * 17th Edition Electrical A career with us means you'll have the freedom to develop your skills and leave your mark on the communities in which we work.
