Overview

Service Desk Analyst Spring Technology are working with a leading employer in Sheffield to recruit a Service Desk Analyst to work within their thriving team on a busy service desk. The role The successful candidate will be answering phone calls and email queries from our client in regards to IT issues that they face. You will be undertaking fault diagnosis and attempting a first line fix, you will escalate calls to second and third line levels when appropriate. You will also have to ensure that service desk software is up to date. The Responsibilities 1st line telephone support and call logging. Analysing problems and identifying equipment needed to resolve the issue. Management of active directory. Working alongside second line support in installing hardware and software. Liaising with hardware and software teams to request repairs. Installation of mobile devices. The Requirements Previous experience within a fast paced service desk role is essential Experience with supporting a Windows environment and applications Experience of working with Active Directory. Excellent communication skills as you will be communicating to different stakeholders across the business Ability to think on your feet and react to issues.
