Macildowie Finance are currently working exclusively with a leading business based in the centre of Leicester to recruit a Management Accountant. If you are an ambitious and dynamic part/newly qualified accountant who is looking for a business and most importantly a line manager that will invest heavily in you, then this role will be perfect You will be working for a great coach/mentor with a passion and proven track record for people development. This business' finance function are embarking on an exciting journey where opportunities to challenge yourself and grow will be a plenty Within this busy and varied role you will be responsible for; Production of the monthly management accounts in a timely and accurate manner. Variance analysis - interrogating the month end figures and providing your commentary on variance to plan and drivers. Support the Commercial Finance team in the production of budgets and forecasts. Support the Group Finance function in the submission of key statutory information in line with internal and external frameworks and policies. Work with key stakeholders from across the wider business to provide key financial insight and modelling skills to aid business critical decisions. To be considered for this role you must be/have: AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified and be actively studying towards completion Have clear examples of adding value/streamlining processes within a management accounting role Excel skills (minimum pivots, look ups minimum) Macildowie is a specialist recruitment consultancy with a rich history of enhancing the careers of professionals across the Midlands and the Northern Home Counties.
