Overview
A leading manufacturing business in Kings Lynn are looking to hire an experienced Senior Moulding Engineer. A business critical role, you will become an expert for all activities associated with Program Bids, Design for Manufacture, Installing, Validating, Maintaining and Continuously Improving all Moulding Systems. Moulding is at the core of their business and your role will be to ensure equipment not only functions correctly, but that the products and components produced are of a high standard and quality too. You'll be involved with component scale-up projects, as well as acting as a mentor for various Engineers and Technicians. You'll input specifications and cost estimates to optimise industrialisation and support 'new business' wins. It is also expected that you'll have a strong background in Design For Manufacture and Failure Mode & Effects Analysis processes. To be successful, you'll need to have the following skills, experience and knowledge: Extensive experience in Plastic Injection Moulding Engineering Knowledge of Mould Principles disciplines, tool design and polymer science Experience/understanding of pneumatics, hydraulic, electrical, control systems and CAD software.
