Registration Coordinator (PRI) £20,000-£22,000 per annum Fixed Term until February 2021 Stevenage, Hertfordshire We are looking for a Registration Coordinator (PRI) to join the IET family We are the IET and we inspire, inform and influence the global engineering community to engineer a better world. As the Registration Coordinator will be responsible for processing applications for Professional Registration, particularly at the professional review interview stage and also interviews for Fellowship and Technical Reports. You will provide a high quality service to applicants, interviewers and advisors, assisting with relevant committee and group activity (real and virtual), including preparation for decision-making activities and follow up. The Registration Coordinator will sit within a small friendly team (part of a larger team), working together to achieve a common objective. You will have excellent communication skills and will be comfortable liaising with people to build effective stakeholder relationships both internally and externally. The Registration Coordinator will also have the ability to multi task and prioritise your workload, with experience of managing a diary or organising events. Day to Day Responsibilities (summary) · To use a complex database and workflow system to process applications for Registration. · Identify important policy and case-law decisions and understand the implications of certain decisions and notes and apply as appropriate. · To process applications within the prevailing regulatory framework; to act on own initiative where appropriate and to obtain additional information as required. · To liaise with applicants, advisors, interviewers and relevant groups and individuals to ensure the effective and efficient processing of applications and provide the best possible service. · To arrange Interview sets by sourcing interviewers and assigning candidates on agreed dates. · To prepare materials for interviewers with meticulous attention to detail. · To check post-interview decisions to ensure accuracy. · To follow-up delayed applications and be proactive in taking any necessary action. · To book appropriate external venues, equipment and refreshments for Interviews. · To oversee Interviews and make sure that everything runs smoothly on the day. · To set-up video conference interviews, ensure test calls are requested and conducted.prior to the date of interview to ensure an appropriate connection is available to conduct planned interviews. Key Skills · Educated to A Level standard or equivalent to include English to good O Level/GCSE standard or equivalent · Excellent interpersonal skills, including confidence in dealing with people at all levels. · Good customer service awareness and knowledge. · Good verbal and written communication skills. · Good organising skills. · Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads with minimum supervision. · Good IT skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and some database experience. · A good Team player with a very flexible approach. · Experience in working with CRM systems. · Experience in working with a workflow system. ·E xperience in a customer led service industry. · Knowledge of Engineering Council requirements for Professional Registration. · Knowledge of Engineering skills and levels required for Professional Registration useful. · A Basic Disclosure check which will be conducted at the start of employment and then every two years.
