Overview

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. The Head of Sales will identify and drive the development of new and ongoing business opportunities with high-level technology and business decision makers in diverse industry sectors including professional media, news, sports, broadcast TV etc, sporting codes, education and government, social media and more. Supported by a young but global organisation and working with a highly capable local team of technical, product and solutions experts, the Head of Sales will drive the B2B sale of unique software solutions that offer customers measurable benefits in hyper-personalised content and advertising capabilities plus innovative new ways to manage and distribute video. This is a highly visible, customer-facing position requiring first class communication skills, the ability to listen, understand needs, educate and lead discussions, present solutions, negotiate, and close deals. The company are looking for an ‘evangelist’ to educate prospects and customers in new features and capabilities that many have not considered previously. These are generally consultative, commercial / business conversations, but a background in, or at least functional understanding of online video or OTT solutions would be particularly helpful. ​ Minimum 5 years of technical B2B solution sales experience; Track record of hitting targets and managing pipelines; Exposure to online video tech or OTT video solutions; Professional communications and presentation skills; Attention to detail with reporting and contractual documents; Adaptability and ability to spot new opportunities.
