Overview
A Leading Insurance Analytics company is seeking to hire a Data Governance / Data Management Project Manager to join its rapidly expanding team. This PM job will be working in fast paced environment as the business looks to establish its Data Standards and Data Quality across a rapidly growing company. This job will offer quick career progression in an environment more akin to Insuretech than a traditional Insurer. Data Governance / Data Management Responsibilities: Project Management Build and drive the data governance master and metadata focused roadmap and associated plan Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs Perform risk management to minimize project risks Managing scope change and requirements changes during implementation Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques Managing the PM interface with the testing and BA teams Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Execution and maintenance of project plan and scope Logging and management of project risks and issues Management of project timings, budget, quality and reporting Managing change control and change impact Co-ordinating with Programme Management Owning project documentation such as PIDs, business cases and KPIs Create and maintain management information for senior management Lead an agile delivery team and interface with in-house developers and third party suppliers Ideal requirements: Collaborative and commercially minded approach. Experience with implementing projects (data governance and MDM preferred) in large organisation(s). Experience with C-level stakeholders. Experience with metadata and MDM tooling. Ability to successfully advocate for data governance and good data practices with the wider business. Awareness of GDPR and its implications on data strategy and data activities. Extensive project delivery experience Experienced in data governance approaches, practices and learnings in large organisation(s) Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Reltio, Informatica, Orchestra Networks etc. Demonstrable experience managing multiple concurrent projects and priorities Experience of working in Agile project environment Certification in project management methodology and/or Agile methodology desirable For more information please apply to this advert or contact
