Overview
An excellent opportunity for an experienced French Speaking Regulatory Affairs Advisor to join this highly successful company who provide major retailers and brands with accurate labelling, consumer information and regulatory advice. THE ROLE The primary function is to provide input on food packaging artwork from pack copy to approval, adhering to regulatory requirements and corporate policies. You will also be providing food regulatory advice on French or Spanish markets to clients, translators and internal teams. Responsible for providing high quality food regulatory advice on specific countries/regions to clients, translators and internal teams, you will answer clients' queries, participate and contribute in leading projects to ensure a high level of customer service. The role also involves input on artwork from pack copy to approval, adhering not only to regulatory requirements, but also corporate policies. The International Regulatory Advisor carries out research on regulatory developments in the countries/regions they cover and other markets which may be of interest to the business to ensure that they are up to date to perform their day-to-day duties. Also to provide input on company products/services and contributes to the development of new products/services of interest to clients. You may be required to do presentations on food regulatory topics to clients and industry stakeholders in training courses and may need to attend meetings with clients and other stakeholders. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Food Science or similar degree, or a Food Law/Trading Standards/Environmental Health (Food Standard) qualification Excellent knowledge of EU and UK food legislation. Experience of a regulatory role within the food industry. Ability to interpret complex food legislation. Understanding of the food retail and food manufacturing environment. Conversant with specification completion and able to review specifications and artwork.
