Overview

Our Client who is a major automotive company requires a Business Support Analyst for this long term contract position based in their Technical Centre at Dunton, Nr Basildon, Essex. Own transport is necessary to access the site. This position is paying £20.84ph initially increasing to £26.40ph after the 13 week AWR period working under Umbrella Company status. The Central Order Fulfilment Support Team is responsible for monitoring and administration of the company corporate inventory of orders and vehicles offered on company eCommerce. Provide operational support to develop and grow the capability of all Marketing Sales & Service users of the Order Fulfilment suite of tools and processes: Dealer Ordering Systems: VISTA/ Central Ordering Systems: VISTA/ORBIT/GOTD. Liaison and co-ordination with VOPS AM Team to identify, escalate and chase resolution on application issues affecting Order Fulfilment Business processes Develop the capability and knowledge of the Order Fulfilment tools and processes to support Business process improvements Optimize the data integrity in the Order Fulfilment and Sales Reporting applications Coordinate related User documentation of the listed applications and ensure it is up to date Develop and publish performance metrics to support process improvement activities. Support user training sessions The Skills Required are: Basic IT understanding or background on how systems work, data is stored and transmitted - Must be capable to read and understand database table structures - Good knowledge in SQL query language to analyse and retrieve data - Good knowledge in all Microsoft Office tools (Access included) - Analytical capabilities - Must be fluent in English, a second language is helpful - Communicative person - Good team player with some flexibility in working hours to support UAT and weekend launches if required - Friendly open minded Skills Preferred: Ideally having knowledge of Company VOPS Systems - Ideally having knowledge of automotive OTD processes - Ideally having worked in a support function already Experience Required: IT helpdesk or programming Experience Preferred: Automotive IT & Helpdesk Education Required: A Levels Education Preferred: Degree Additional Information : Relationships and Interface: Liaison with European Marketing Sales & Service IT AM and AD organizations.
