Overview
Data Engineer / Senior Data Engineer Central London A London based company, owned by a major US player, combining tech startup with globally established domain expertise. They are now looking to increase their Big Data Software Engineering muscle right at the intersection of business and technology through the provision of Advanced Analytics. As a Data Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional team working hand in hand with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers, exposed to multiple technologies within an Agile environment. Your work will contribute to the optimisation of company performance. In doing so, you will be encouraged to participate in regular learning and development opportunities to support consistent career progression, up-skilling, and overall technical expertise. We are keen to hear from you if you have worked with any of the following technologies: Cloud: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Services (GCP), Microsoft Azure Big Data: Spark ( Essential ), PySpark, Databricks, Kafka Programming: Python ( Essential ), Scala, Java Databases: Distribute Processing, RDBMS, NoSQL Interpersonal requirements: Entrepreneurial mindset, keen to network and work at the forefront of cutting edge technologies Effective communication skills, able to engage with Senior Stakeholders and C-suite Team player - able to contribute ideas both outside of your typical remit and from professional expertise Benefits: Competitive salary dependent on experience Bonus up to 25% Over 10% employer contribution to pension Childcare Vouchers/Family support Private Health and Medical Life Assurance This is a relatively concise interview process, which can be fitted around your schedule.
