Supply Chain Assistant Bury Importer £20,000 - £24,000 Our Client, a friendly and well established distributor of products to the retail industry, now has an excellent opportunity for a Supply Chain Assistant to join their team in Greater Manchester. The main purpose of your role will be to support the Supply Chain Manager in a range of administration and practical tasks to assist them in ensuring the availability of a range of products. Responsibilities Setting up stock on the system. To input all data for line lists, chasing factories for information to complete as necessary To identify specification information for all new products and packaging and input onto the standard templates Ensure the availability of up to date samples and new samples Liaise with factories on a regular basis Chasing progress of orders to ensure requirements are met within required timescales. To provide cover and/or support for other team members The successful candidate will need have previous experience working as a Supply Chain Assistant, Assistant Buyer or similar role - Preferably within a similar environment with Far East experience. You will have advanced Excel knowledge and excellent organisational skills. You will have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
